The Private Equity Group of Mofakro Group focuses on the management of capital through acquisitions of private companies in the Arabian Gulf. The Private Equity Group typically acquires undervalued companies with good growth potential and proceeds to build these companies over a period of five to ten years before liquidating the investments in a way that maximizes return on investment.
The current focus of the Private Equity Group is to acquire medium sized companies in the Arabian Gulf. Medium sized companies are defined as companies that employ between 50 and 150 people and/or have annual turn over of between USD 3 Million and USD 10 Million.
The vision of the Private Equity Group is to develop to be an entity that acquires large sized companies, not just in the Arabian Gulf but also in Europe and the United States.

Mofakro Group acquired a majority shareholding in Amal Recording Center in 2002. Over a period of five years the company was rebranded as Amal Media Group and was developed from a small recording studio to a leading producer and distributor of Arabic music in the Arabian Gulf. Mofakro Group exited the investment in December 2006.
